About Fiona Fiona is a highly experienced occupational therapist who has worked in paediatrics for nearly 30 years, supporting children of all ages and diagnoses, predominantly within community and education settings. A long-term practitioner and strong advocate of family-centred practice, Fiona values working collaboratively with families to support children in reaching their full potential. She holds a Master of Occupational Therapy (Contemporary Practice) and a Master of Sensory Disability (Hearing Loss). Special Interests Approach to Therapy Fiona practices within a family centred and strength based approach. Fiona incorporates children’s interests and uses a play based approach to support skill development. Relevant Professional Development Training Early Childhood & Play-Based Interventions Emotional Regulation & Mental Health Communication & Language Supports Feeding & Daily Living Skills Outside the Clinic Outside of work, Fiona enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, keeping fit and spending time at the beach.
