Fee Schedule

Please contact us for assessment pricing.
Note: It is your responsibility to confirm with the relevant provider whether any Medicare rebate/private health insurance is applicable.
For self-managed NDIS participants and private clients (include Medicare referrals) we require a debit/credit card to be stored on file for automatic payment at the commencement of the appointment. A paid invoice (receipt) will then be emailed to you.
Invoices will be sent out for any non face to face appointment items for manual payment.
For plan-managed NDIS participants we will email your invoice directly to your plan manager for payment.

Non Face to Face Supports

Non Face to Face Supports

Time spent on ‘non-face-to-face supports’ that contribute towards the achievement of the participant’s goals will be invoiced separately to direct face to face supports.

  • Time spent communicating (including verbally, emails, phone calls, reports etc) with co-workers as part of a multidisciplinary team working with a child.
  • Time spent communicating with external service providers e.g. early educator/teacher, GP, paediatrician, external therapy providers, NDIS coordinator/planner.
  • Specific resource development for home use e.g. communication placemats, visual schedules etc.
  • Time spent analysing and interpreting clinical assessment data, and research undertaken which is specifically linked to the needs of a participant and to the achievement of the participant’s goals (e.g. researching options for assistive technology).

This list is not exhaustive, but represents the kind of activities that constitute non-face-to-face supports.
These items are charged at the same hourly rate as direct face to face supports, as per the table above.

Cancellation Policy

Why Cancellations Matter

When an appointment is cancelled, it impacts more than just one person:

  • The client – delaying the child’s progress in therapy
  • Another family – who may be waiting urgently for an appointment
  • Your therapist – who has spent time preparing for your child’s session
Short Notice Cancellations (Billed)

If a client cancels or reschedules an appointment with less than 2 business days’ notice, or does not attend a scheduled session, the applicable session fee will be charged.
For NDIS participants, short-notice cancellations are charged for the 60-minute Direct Service component only. The additional 15-minute NF2F Clinical Support is not charged for a cancelled appointment.
This includes any applicable travel time or kilometres.
This fee cannot be claimed through Medicare.

Other Cancellations (Unbilled)
If an appointment is cancelled with more than 2 business days’ notice, it will be considered an unbilled cancellation and no fee will apply.
For clients who have ongoing appointments, PKT allows up to 2 unbilled cancellations per quarter, per practitioner.

If this allowance is exceeded, PKT may review the client’s ongoing schedule. This may include:
• reviewing alternative days and/or times for ongoing appointments
• reducing the frequency of booked appointments
• placing the client back on the waitlist and discontinuing services if consistent attendance cannot be maintained

Appointments that are rescheduled with more than 2 business days’ notice will not count towards the quarterly cancellation allowance.
Excessive Cancellations

Excessive cancellations (whether short notice or not) may result in services being reviewed or ceased, to ensure fair access to services for other families waiting.
