Our Process

1. Contact Us

Call us or email us to discuss your child’s needs and goals with one of our friendly team members, and arrange a time to visit us.

Come and see the clinic and meet with the clinic manager. Or, if you prefer, you can have your initial meeting over the phone.

2. Initial Meeting

For the initial meeting you may attend with or without your child, free of charge, to meet with our clinic manager.

During this meeting we will discuss our services in detail with you, identify how we can help your child reach their goals, and together develop an appropriate service agreement.

3. Begin Therapy

After formulating the service agreement, therapies will commence.

During the course of therapy we will develop an ongoing therapy plan that will form the basis of treatment going forward.

This will be reviewed regularly and will help to identify progress being made toward your child’s goals.

Our fees are consistent across all funding types – NDIS, Medicare, private.

Social stories, resource creation, liaising with other healthcare providers such as your child’s paediatrician, and so on is charged at the same hourly rate of therapy.

As a multidiscipline clinic, one of the most powerful aspects of our ongoing therapy is the collaboration between the therapists that are working with your child. These multidiscipline ‘huddles’ are charged at the hourly rate of therapy and are facilitated on an as-needed basis.

Please contact us for any other enquiries.

Cancellation Policy

Cancelled appointments are a loss to three people:

  • the client who is delaying their therapy progress;
  • another client who has been waiting to see a therapist urgently; and
  • the therapist who has spent time and effort preparing for the session.

In the event that less than 2 business days’ notice is given to reschedule or cancel an appointment, or a scheduled appointment is not attended, the normal consultation fee will be charged. This policy is in place to allow us to offer the allocated time to another client who may be on our cancellation or waiting list.

Inside of the 2 business day period, if you are unable to come into the clinic we offer the following options instead of cancelling the appointment:

  • Phone consultation (parent and therapist)
  • Telehealth appointment (at therapist’s discretion)
