Occupational Therapist
Hazel is an Occupational Therapist who works at the Brendale Clinic. She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). Hazel is dedicated to supporting children and families in reaching their full potential. With a strong belief in a strengths-based, family-centred approach, she works collaboratively with families to help children achieve meaningful goals and enhance their everyday skills. Hazel is passionate about creating a fun, engaging and supportive environment where children feel empowered to explore and develop at their own pace. Her professional areas of interest include sensory processing, self-care, emotional regulation and food exploration, where she focuses on building skills that promote independence and confidence. Hazel works closely with families to ensure that therapy is integrated into the child’s daily life in a way that is practical and enjoyable. Outside of the clinic, Hazel enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, reading, going to the beach and travelling.
