Lumi is experienced in working with children of all ages, from preschool to teenage years with a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression as well as neurodevelopmental disorders such as AD/HD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She also has a particular interest in working with complex trauma, helping children heal and recover after exposure to prolonged early childhood trauma. She adopts a client-centred approach utilising evidence-based treatment to provide individualised treatment specific to each client’s needs. Interventions include cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, schema therapy and positive behavioural parenting interventions. Lumi is also experienced in the assessment of a range of childhood difficulties such as Intellectual Disability, ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
