I love working at Pepper Kids Therapy because of the supportive and friendly team culture we have created. It is such a collaborative multidisciplinary space where we support each other and our clients. I have loved watching and supporting the growth in skills and confidence in my team as well as being able to tap into my creativity to work with clients and their families.

I love working at Pepper Kids Therapy for the sense of community across our clinics. We have a close-knit team at our Logan clinic, and I know I can rely on each of my team members. Whether it be finding solutions for client queries, a chat after a long day, words of kindness, or pitching in to hand out flyers for our fundraisers. This sense of team and belonging spans across each of our clinics. There isn’t anything too big or too small that you could ask of a PKT staff member, they are always happy to help!
I know our clients appreciate this too. They can have confidence in their clinician delivering their best efforts every session, and collaborating with our other disciplines to deliver a smooth MDT approach to therapy.

I love working at PKT because it means I get to support the Gold Coast community and their families, and provide therapeutic care to them as a multidisciplinary team. As a new grad, I am happy I completed the PKT grad program, as the slow case build and support from peers and supervisors helped me adjust to the workforce well. There are many reasons why I choose to work at PKT - it's the place to be! There is work flexibility, the clinic is multidisciplinary, there is an abundance of clinical and administrative support for the clinicians, and opportunity for ongoing professional development. PKT is a very supportive work environment with a friendly, knowledgeable and approachable team. I love the flexibility that PKT offers to work in multiple settings, allowing us to support families in the clinic, their home, and school to provide tailored and client centred services. PKT has given me the opportunity to learn and grow my skills and knowledge as an OT with a varied caseload and supportive leadership from senior staff across all disciplines.

We have shared values and goals to help our community which makes the work we do so meaningful and rewarding to be a part of. The people are what really make PKT so amazing, each member of our team is incredibly open and supportive of each other, and show genuine care for one another. There is also always something exciting happening as well such as social events, lunchtime games or activities, an annual fundraising bake sale, our annual cob loaf competition, and the list goes on!

I love working at PKT because everyone is so supportive. The culture is awesome and really genuine. Everyone actually cares about the wellbeing of not just our clients, but also each other. The PKT team are always just a message away and someone is always there to answer any questions.
I don't have to worry about organising my calendar as it is all done for me so I can focus on delivering the best support to my clients. If I have a concern it is always followed up and discussed as to how things can be improved to make it better for not just myself, but for everyone!
Overall, I love the culture, support and the fact that I can just focus on helping the children and their families to work towards their goals.
