Lisa Smith

Senior Speech Pathologist

Lisa is an experienced speech pathologist who is passionate about supporting her clients and their families to achieve their goals. Lisa has experience working with a diverse range of clients from 2 to 17 years of age. She possesses strong skills in supporting the development of speech, language, literacy, and fluency skills. Lisa has particular interest in supporting clients with severe speech sound disorders, including child apraxia of speech (CAS). Lisa is highly skilled and experienced in assessment and treatment of developmental language disorder and reading difficulties, including dyslexia. 

Lisa has had a range of experiences including education, private practice, and a charity-based organisation for the education of young hearing impaired children. Lisa has completed extensive professional development around speech disorder and literacy. She is trained in Phonics International and enjoys staying abreast of the current research around how children learn to read. Lisa is trained in the Lidcombe program to support preschool and early school-aged clients who stutter. She is dedicated to life-long learning and is always keen to further her skills and learn new things.   

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys exploring new places and spending time with family, friends, and her many foster pets!
