Julia Aquino

Julia is a dedicated speech pathologist who is passionate about supporting children’s development and aspirations. She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Master of Speech Pathology Studies and enjoys continuing to learn and grow her skills each day. In her previous career, Julia worked in the education sector, primarily as a high school teacher. Julia was motivated by this experience to work more closely with children with diverse needs and their families, and to contribute to improved access to supports that enable them to flourish.

Julia is particularly interested in supporting children in the areas of speech, language and literacy development. She values collaboration with families and the multidisciplinary team, and is excited to see children and their families build their confidence and make progress towards their goals. Outside of work, Julia enjoys spending time with her family, being out in the garden, playing the violin, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
