Lilian is a Speech Pathologist working at the Eight Mile Plains Clinic who graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). She is dedicated to providing holistic and evidence-based therapy in service of supporting children to participate in all aspects of life.
Lilian prioritises creating therapy sessions that are engaging, playful, and meaningful, recognising that children learn best when they feel comfortable and connected. She places strong importance on building genuine rapport with each child, ensuring they feel safe, understood, and motivated to participate. Lilian also values collaborative partnerships with parents and carers, working closely with families to share knowledge, strategies, and insights so that everyone can work together consistently to support their child’s development.
Lilian endeavours to take a strengths-based, evidence-informed approach to therapy, ensuring that intervention is both holistic and functional when developing meaningful goals. She incorporates play-based and child-led strategies to maximise engagement, while embedding learning within naturalistic contexts to support generalisation of skills. Lilian values collaborative practice and works closely with parents and carers to implement consistent, practical strategies across home, school, and therapy environments.
Lilian loves to read and sit with a cup of tea.
