About working at Pepper Kids
At Pepper Kids Therapy, we support people with disabilities to live great lives. It is the reason we exist – we bring positivity in all that we do.
We are looking for like-minded people who share the same values of person-centred care, empowerment, education, and evidence-based practice.
We believe that when people love their work, the best outcomes for children & their families are achieved.
You will be well supported at Pepper Kids - with supervision and professional development from highly experienced senior and lead practitioners.
You will be offered flexible working hours - choose your own hours between 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
All staff have access to an annual professional development budget of up to $3,000 & 4 days PD leave to assist in accessing external PD opportunities. This is in addition to the extensive in-service PD provided.
We are a clinic based organisation, no living out of the boot of your car here! You will have your own dedicated clinic room and laptop, access to an abundance of resources, and will enjoy a varied caseload of children up to the age of 18 including the opportunity to have joint sessions with other disciplines.
Why the team
Loves working at Pepper Kids
I love working at Pepper Kids Therapy because of my team, collaborating not competing and being able to support children and their families.
Grant Schulz

I love working with the kids at PKT, they are all so different and I like being able to make an impact on those who are vulnerable and looking to adults for some guidance and helping their parents and guardians to implement support and changes. I love that I get to sit and do all of this whilst playing with dolls and slime.

The PKT team is full of thoroughly amazing humans with incredibly big hearts and an unending drive to help their clients, colleagues, and communities. Our clients and their families make every work day so meaningful! They are so dedicated and they constantly work so hard with their therapists in and out of sessions! I love being involved in building trusting working relationships with our clients and their families, so that they know that they are safe, that they are heard, and that we truly care about them, their personal situations, and their goals. But most of all, seeing my kiddos and their families thrive fills my heart with joy and makes me so proud of the work that we all do.
Sarah Bose

I love working at PKT as there is a genuine stride for excellence, growth and support. There is always time for each other with mutual respect and recognition. This kind of environment is rare to find, it allows us to work in a place that is encouraging. This brings out the best in all of us and helps us to provide a fun and engaged space to support our clients and the communities we operate in.

I enjoy that I get the opportunity to get to know the people I work with better through our shared lunches, lunchtime activities and outside of work activities that are organised regularly. Being in a space with people that you enjoy working with makes it so much easier to collaborate and work together.

PKT has an amazing company culture because every co-worker truly embodies what PKT stands for: Positivity, Kindness and Teamwork. I appreciate and love the relationships I have with my co-workers who are so supportive and are inspirational to me. I also love how PKT values their employees in every way whether it be acting on feedback received, investing in team building events, and providing ample support to ensure our health, wellbeing and career progression. Thank you PKT!

There are so many reasons to love working at PKT. The culture is second to none with a strong focus on positivity, kindness, and teamwork in everything we do. We have shared values and goals to help our community which makes the work we do so meaningful and rewarding to be a part of. The people are what really make PKT so amazing, each member of our team is incredibly open and supportive of each other, and show genuine care for one another. There is also always something exciting happening as well such as social events, lunchtime games or activities, an annual fundraising bake sale, our annual cob loaf competition, and the list goes on!
Saskia Jansen-Zigenbine
Clinic Manager
I love working at PKT because everyone is so supportive. The culture is awesome and really genuine. Everyone actually cares about the wellbeing of not just our clients, but also each other. My colleagues can always tell if I am struggling and are always there to check in on me and listen, and will try to help out.
I get weekly supervision and can always chat with the rest of my team who are always around. The rest of the PKT team are always just a message away and someone is always there to answer any questions.
I do not have to worry about organising my calendar as it is all done for me so I can focus on delivering the best support to my clients. I love that I can make suggestions as to the resources I need - and the resources I suggest actually get purchased!
If I have a concern it is always followed up and discussed as to how things can be improved to make it better for not just myself, but for everyone!
Overall, I love the culture, support and the fact that I can just focus on helping the children and their families to work towards their goals.
